I made this big, bulbous vessel a few years ago, but it still fascinates me as much as the day I made it!
I built it by hand, glazed it with a variety of glazes, and also sprinkled it with crumbs of deep blue glass, which ran beautifully down the sides of the vessel during the glaze firing, and formed a large lake of crackle in the upper area. I also decorated the top and bottom with pewter drops and a few "stars" flying through the dark blue galaxy.
As usual, this vessel is ooak and there will not be a second one!!
The vessel is about 40 cm in diameter (at its widest point) and 24 cm high.

Dieses bauchige große Gefäß (Steingut) habe ich schon vor ein paar Jahren gemacht, aber es fasziniert mich noch wie am ersten Tag!
Ich habe es per Hand aufgebaut, mit verschiedenen Glasuren versehen und zusätzlich bekam es auch noch Brösel aus tiefblauem Glas aufgestreut, welche beim Glasurbrand wunderschön an der Gefäßwand herab liefen, und im oberen Bereich bildete sich ein toller Kraklee-See. Zusätzlich habe ich dann noch den oberen Rand sowie den Fuß mit Tropfen aus Zinn verziert, und es schwirren ein paar "Sterne" durch die dunkelblaue Galaxie.
Ein Hamma-Hingucker!
Wie üblich handelt es sich um ein Unikat, und es wird kein zweites davon geben!!
